Master Scheduler - Service Parts

Overview:
To coordinate and schedule orders from order entry to shipment.
Responsibilities:
Track and expedite those activities previously scheduled to assure the best performance to the schedule: i.e. Engineering, Drafting, Purchasing, and Production.
Review inventory levels to use up or disposition of materials in obsolescence and excess materials from previous job.
Maintain a database on excess parts to be reused on future orders.
Coordinate transfer of inventory between Service and Apparatus warehouses. Respond to requests by Inside Sales to expedite internal transfers.
Issue internal requisitions and purchase requisitions to meet customer lead time demands.
Track inventory in stock, adjust inventory stocking orders based on historical usage, monitor stock product availability to ensure timely shipments to customers.
Review incoming receipts of parts on purchase orders and internal requisitions to ensure that those parts are applied (reserved) to the correct order.
Work with buyers and other scheduling functions in coordinating and executing large orders and more complex customer requirements.
Understand how to create discrete jobs, view and interpret drawings and how to identify material(s) of construction.
Execute make and buy items.
Run and evaluate Min I Max report.
Assist ISRs in entering and booking orders.
Work with Engineering to resolve any part I order questions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or 10 years of associated experience.
APICS CPIM certification would be extremely helpful.
5-7 years of experience in Operations I Supply Chain in roles like planning, purchasing and master
Scheduling.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with personnel from many other departments.
Knowledge and skills required to perform the processes from order entry to shipment.
Knowledge of master scheduling and how it interacts with inventory and impacts on-time shipments.
Computer skills and knowledge of associated ERP software. High degree of expertise and knowledge of ERP system utilizing MRP and capacity management systems.
Experience in demand planning and inventory management
Knowledge of the Elliott product line would be helpful.
Knowledge of the Elliott manufacturing requirements, internal and external would be helpful.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
