To perform sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, waxing of floors, etc., operation in the shop offices and restrooms.
Replenish bathroom supplies and empty waste trash receptacles throughout the facility.
Receive instructions from supervision.
Cleans, scrubs, waxes and maintains all shop offices and office equipment.
Cleans and maintains all shop rest rooms, supplying them with necessary soaps and paper.
Cleans shop drinking fountains and cantina area.
Washes windows as needed.
Use liquid drain opener as needed.
Replenishes saftey supplies, cleaners, eye flush kits throughout facility.
Observes all housekeeing and safety rules.
Must have three years custodial work experience at a 15,000 square foot or larger commercial property or multi-site manufacturing facility.
Physical dexterity required to utilize tools of trade daily which include but are not limited to: brooms, mops, bowl brushes, floor scrubbing and waxing commercial grade equipment, vacuum cleaner and carpet scrubbing machines.
Incumbent must be able to work from various heights from the ground some aspects of the position requires candidates to work from ladders or hand trucks.
Incumbent must be familar with OSHA, material data sheets regulations and observe all safety rules when utilizing industrial strength soaps, cleaners, detergents, disinfectants, cleaning agents and agents used to unclog drains.
