Business Office Manager Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience 5
years' experience as an office manager in a Long Term Care setting preferred Must be comfortable multitasking Geriatric and long term care experience preferred Computer and Collection experience
Responsibilities:
oPlay an integral part in achieving nursing center business excellence goals as our Business Office Manager where you will oversee census, billing, accounts receivable, tracking of Medicaid applications and other AR functions oReports directly to the CFO and VP of Operations Visible position that interacts with nursing center staff, leadership, Centralized Billing Office families, attorneys and external agencies oExpert knowledge, leadership, and teamwork are utilized to facilitate cohesive continuous quality improvement and excellence in department services oInterprets, evaluates and communicates findings and participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives oOversee the activities of the Business Office, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Purchasing oAssures the accurate and timely dissemination of financial information and/or reports including, but not limited to monthly financial statements, monthly and annual audits, and annual budgets oDirect responsibility for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, and performance appraisal of staff oAssists with establishment and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures which verify the integrity of all accounting processes and data oResponds to the Vice President of Finance as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate the financial needs of the organization oPrepares and plans Business Office budgets and submits to Vice President of Finance for review oCoordinates and participates in the month-end and year-end closing processes Job Type:
