Overview:
This position will primarily provide support and development for Lotus Notes applications.
Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.
Ensure that technical/programming aspects of systems projects meet requirements, and identify and resolve system issues.
Work closely with other project resources in testing of software and applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas.
Collaborate with analysts, designers, and end users in the testing of newly installed or changed software programs and applications.
Liaise with other software developers and engineers to address issues in program logic, as well as the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.
Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.
Test software and communicate and document results and make recommendations based on findings.
Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
Research and make recommendations on coding, integration, and reporting products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Meet with Business Systems Analysts, decision makers, business process owners, and end users to define reporting and processing requirements.
Work with data owners and Business Systems Analysts to develop models, procedures, and protocols for reporting in concert with requirements.
Prepare and deliver program code to meet documented requirements.
Advise others within the IT department and supervisors on appropriate, effective, and efficient use of software code.
Code and implement program and reporting structures that meet documented requirements.
Adhere to change management and documentation standards.
Occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet deadlines.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Demonstrate dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components/peripherals.
Participate in sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Travel on occasion to business seminars, conventions, and company locations.
Occasional lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects such as computers, peripherals, and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Management Information Systems; other degrees and/or equivalent requisite experience will be considered.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lotus Notes developer / administrator.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge and experience with Lotus Notes 8.x designer client environment.
Working knowledge and experience with Lotus Script and @Formula language.
Familiar with Oracle E-Business Suite is preferred.
Familiar with Notes administration.
Familiar with X-pages, HTML and JavaScript.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of networks, PCs, Servers, Database Management Systems.
Microsoft desktop operating systems and office applications.
Business Skills:
Working knowledge and experience in supporting users across key areas of the business and identifying business requirements and problems.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of one or more end-to-end business process.
Experience in overseeing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of automated business application software.
Knowledge and experience with sound project management techniques and software tools.
Other Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in business terms, both in written and verbal form.
Good listening skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
