The person in this position serves as the liaison between Elliott and its customers. Is the execution lead for engineered-to-order rotating equipment.

Responsibilities:
Provide a single point of contact to customers regarding new apparatus orders from release to manufacture through shipment.
Responsible for communicating customer contract requirements to other Elliott departments through design specifications and special engineering instructions.
When required, attend customer meetings, such as the Project Kick-Off Meeting, Customer Coordination Meeting, and Elliott Pre-Inspection Meeting.
Communicate with sub-suppliers regarding technical and commercial matters for major purchased auxiliaries.
Create and distribute engineered documents and responsible for approving drawing releases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred) from an accredited program.
0 - 2 years experience in an engineering role. Customer interaction a plus.
Mechanical aptitude for rotating machinery and the associated processes, as well as the ability to read and understand drawings, product transmittals, technical documentation, operational manuals, and other technically related reports or memos.
Both written and oral communication skills are essential.
Basic understanding of control theory and electrical components.
Travel approximately 10-15% per year including international travel.
